Ts has low Bandwidth Tps compare to ADTV Tps so accomodating HD channels through compression

Yes. Here also the same model of Samsung TV is present which is at my house.

As per me what I saw the issue is with only few HD channels in regional section and not in ROI. Specially star HD channels they are at par with ADTV few are better. I saw on same tv. And issue is obviously not of dull it's was something related to pixelation.

I watch only ROI channels so I've observed only on ROI channels. I don't know about regional channels. I am just saying that airtel's HD PQ is better than Tata Sky.

Now Frankly speaking here I will believe only those who has posted proofs like siva bro. There is no use in discussing as few are here who had never seen TS personally will see it on his relative will comment

Ok bro it's up to user experience. As I have to seen that so I can't say ADTV is better in ROI. But I can say in some regional channels they are definitely ahead.

Hmm ...please try to set same contrast, brightness,sharpness,backlight and Color in both TV and check...last year when I moved from tatasky to dishtv picture quality in dishtv was dull and dark...I had to increase contrast by 20 points,sharpness by 15 points and backlight by 4 points to match with tatasky.....hence requesting to check the same.

Hello Tata Sky users,
I am a airtel digital tv user & today I experienced the HD channels of Tata Sky.
After seeing the HD channels PQ I was surprised. It's PQ is very bad in comparison with airtel's HD PQ. Airtel's PQ is very sharp & crystal clear whereas Tata Sky's PQ is little bit dull & blur.

I don't have hd access fee, so not free. I use make my hd (5 for 30), but dd news is not available in make my hd, so had to pay.

Btw we'll lose the 1 day channel activation in Tatasky after implementation of the trai order I guess

What a disappointment, looks like dd news hd is going to show it with prompter, so will have to watch in sd on dd national only
