Did you asked him the name of the satellite to which he adjusted your dish

he was a local guy said he was just asked to tune to 77 deg by TS....As all the channels were working fine i said ok

I was standing right next to him the meter showed 77....I asked how come only some channels had problem he said coz the change in satellite is very near....now im searching for a satellite @ 77 deg

agree... local guys don't know anything about position.. they know only direction.... most of time they carry signal meters with them...

He turned the alignment dude...said this is closer to old satellite hence ppl will get some channels with old one
