It seems almost clear now that Tata Sky will perform migration activity on need based only. Whenever there is a channel addition planned, they migrate few channels to mpeg4 to create the space. They appear to be working on market assessment basis with no overall plan of complete migration.

Neither they want to...otherwise what can explain why EPIC, ID or Sony Pal get added but not Sony Max2? All of them are SD channels, so not even SD/HD debate works here...what they want they add, what they don't they don't
