I am planning to get another Tatasky connection for my grandparents. If i choose dhamaal mix pack, do they give channels like starsports1, sony six for free during world cup, IPL?

They gave Star Sports channels free during WC season, not only Tata Sky other operators also gave these...
Don't know about IPL season...:s

Switch on power button.3 time press back button.stb showing 3 light on & press 2485
Follow next step select button only
1.power button on
2.3-4 time press back button
3.press 2485
4.select button press
5.downloading start
6.auto restarts
7.normal mode box

Bapun bro give this steps yesterday, don't know work with Samsung stb...

Follow these steps to update manually:

1. When the STB is on, switch off from the power-source.
2. Switch on the STB directly from power-source.
3. Press “back” button twice from remote when “please wait initializing” message comes to the screen.
4. Immediately, press 2465 (if not wrong follow step 1,2,3 again and then press 2485) from remote and software will start downloading. (keep the STB on till it reboots twice)

Yesterday my stb also showed IDLE, but now it's showing Aborted...:s
