Bought a new Tranafer+. Been on Sun Direct+ SD. UI is little tricky but I think I will get the hang of it.

I don't have wifi router in home. Can I still transfer the recorded content to my phone via wifi of mobile? Also I used to set reminder for recordings in Sun using time range and frequency(ie daily/weekly). Is there such a way in TS Transfer+? The series recording function is not apt as shows record long before or end before the show. Also is there anyway we can see the recordings in progress?




PS: I can't play recorded shows when signal is interrupted (during rain etc). That's a bit strange no, the show was recorded in sunny day and if I get a break from rain to play the start,then it goes smoothly even though rain re-started.

You can use any wifi connection - router, phone or wifi dongle. However, it must not be wifi hotspot on the phone to which you will transfer / stream content. Both your STB and the phone need to be connected to the same wifi setup.

There is no time recording option as such. However, if you use series recording, you can specify under recorder settings how much extra time to add before and after the scheduled EPG time of a show.

If you press Plan and go to the recorded content list, the recordings in progress will be marked with a green dot as against previous recorded content which are marked with a red dot.

Friends Help, am using ADTV now and planning to take a second connection for my parents. Mostly they ll use ADTV but when am home only I need a 2nd connection for my mom to watch serials. So my requirement is only all tamil channels and also I want to know about whether daily recharge is available in Tata sky if so I can activate only for the few days in a month. So kindly do the needful. Thanks in advance.

Also which dth will provide economic tamil packages and also need to know which dth is best during rain, is tata sky good in the rain though am happy with the airtel during rain & bad weather.
