GSAT 10 position to be raised furthur and to be fixed at 83 degrees

Hi friends,

GSAT 10 position to be raised furthur to 36000 kms and to be fixed at 83 degrees.

Then test channel will start

Now it has reached 83 degrees and position fixed and latitude 0.06 achieved.

The only pending thing is it has to go to 35,885 km now it is in 35791 kms.

good info, but looks like some article of Oct 2012 month...when GSAT 10 was just launched. Right now it at 36k height and 83 degrees from long. Delay is either due to slow motion ISRO, or some technical glitch, which noone wants to talk about hence so much of rumours...

I can see 83.01 degrees which not bad at all

The article says an altitude of 35,786 km above the earth when the satellite starts to move as the same speed as that of the earth. So lets not loose hope yet and be optimistic...

It is now at 35,783 km.. Only 3kms more, we will see what happens then

Nw it's at 37,787 i.e above 37,786. Nw what can we expect next
