All Tata Sky users would keep their fingers crossed.

If the rocket doesnt stop @74e, it will go to 83e. :lol

It was initially intended for 74e, but with recent failure of GSAT10, Tata Sky is left stranded.
Some websites report that this sat is going @83 slot for TS requirement, otherwise TS plan to go legal against ISRO.
Lets wait and watch.... :sp

I have doubts whether this satellite will give relief to Tata Sky in any manner. Otherwise Tata Sky would have postponed it mpeg 4 transition plan thus saving crores of rupees.

Bad news: GSAT is going to 74e. ( its a latest article.. of 18th aug)

According to GTO sources, after reaching GTO, GSAT-14 will use its own propulsion system to reach its geostationary orbital home and will be stationed at 74º East longitude.

India to launch GSLV-D5 on Monday with communication satellite GSAT-14 on board | NetIndian

because gsat 10 is not failed. All dth are demanding more tp. So in this situation isro cant give more space to any particular dth, in 2014 there will be enough satellite in space for all dth location hence they will give space to all dth at same time.
