Breaking 'Gully Boy' Is India's Official Entry To The Oscars

One is just a weird random action movie. Meanwhile other one is a beautiful coming of age story.

Very different kind of action film. Very different from the usual Bollywood masala.

I root for Tumbbad, we already have tons of movies like Gully Boy in Oscars every year, Tumbbad would have been a very different kind of cinema for Oscars.

There are so many films and actors that deserve a Oscar but didn't win. Taare Zameen Par is one of them. We don't like or remember those oscar winning film. It's about politics, lobby etc. I have no faith on Oscar but I always feel proud that our beloved Satyajit Ray won an Oscar.

Oscar is voted by the academy. Not some Pan Masala brand or event organisers.

Sure the movie was unique. The execution was sub par because of the budget.
