It has been three years since Sony Sab HD was launched on Ganesh Chaturthi 2016, after a long wait. After many years, we could watch TMKOC in HD, five long years after Star Plus and Zee TV launched HD versions (and four years after Sony HD).
Also, the popular Hollywood channel HBO was not there in HD until 4 September 2016, unlike every other English movie channel. So this was also a big launch (it replaced HBO Hits HD).
