Hathway becomes first Indian MSO to offer HD IPL
The fifth season of the DLF Indian Premier League (IPL) cricket tournament, which starts on 4 April, is available in high definition (HD) to Hathway digital cable subscribers in Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad and Bangalore.
All the live action from the high octane twenty20 (T20) league will be available via the IPL's partner channel Sony MAX, distributed in India by The One Alliance – a joint venture between Sony TV owner Multi Screen Media (MSM) and Discovery.

India's entire cable TV network is to be digitised by 31 December 2014, beginning in the metros of Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata at the end of June this year.
