In ala carte service only 7-8 sport channel cost around 250rupee

Airtel Alacarte prices are deliberately kept high so that ADTV can take money from broadcasters to include their channels in particular packages. For example if TV18 pays money to ADTV they will include their channels in base pack. No other explanation can be given for such arbitrary prices for alacarte. For example they are providing 'Fox Action' and 'Star Movies Action' at different prices on their website. Truth is one is just an old name of the same channel. Other example is MGM channel priced at Rs. 20 while in dishtv the same is only Rs. 5.40. Zee Studio Rs. 30 on ADTV Rs. 6.30 on Dish. WB also Rs. 30 on ADTV , on Dish only Rs. 5.50.
