Help Needed: DISH TV HD+ STB STUCK DURING FIRMWARE UPGRADE

Hi All,

I am reader of this forum since 5 years and found it very very useful. Today very first time writing here. Sorry if I open wrong thread and/or posted in wrong thread.

I am facing an issue, my Dish TV HD STB is getting restarting again & again during update process. My STB was working very slow so i try to delete EPG & Flash as a trick told by one of my friend before. I did it many times before. Last time I faced the same issue after doing this and my STB was behaving in same way. i then tried google and found some solution which worked. I am facing same issue now but unable to find same solution again............

I tried to do factory reset, force upgarde, power off & on many times............. but... :-(

I do not know how to add images otherwise I also upload few pictures.

Turn the box off from main switch..then again turn the box on again..U will see bootin please wait.. as soon as it dis appears keep pressin menu,red button continuously ..it will take U to installation menu.. go to tv set up.. erase flash fs..stb will restart..epg will update..

Dish tv set off box saying....Upgrade to Hi-Definition Box @ just 699*....just my guess....

Turn the box off from main switch..then again turn the box on again..U will see bootin please wait.. as soon as it dis appears keep pressin menu,red button continuously ..it will take U to installation menu.. go to tv set up.. erase flash fs..stb will restart..

Do forced software upgrade..after that..

Also did that too... but still not resolved. after rebooting it again goes to blue screen... which shows software "upgrade is in progress"... its first show "Tuning......" then. "Signal Unlocked" and then Signal not found and rebooting............... and then again keep rebooting again & again.............

It means ur home transponder signal not stable,fluctuatin,loosin connectivity ..12688 v 27500..

Signal needs to be locked..
