Vennela was a fresh film in a sense. Though it did not release amidst high expectations, it scraped through ultimately. Nearly five years after the first edition, a sequel to the film is being mooted.
The same will be directed by Vennela Kishore, who shot to fame with the first part. He was just a part of the film, but he will direct the second part himself. In the past, Deva Katta (who directed the first part) was impressed when Kishore narrated a story to him. Monal Gajjar will be the heroine.
It will be a youth-oriented entertainer, again, and the director is looking forward to make it in to a modern day love story.
