This is my Home made Prime focus KU Band LNB.

This LNB uses in Prime focus dish to track the KU band channels.

I just open the normal sharp brand KU band LNB and make some modification.

Now it used to catch the out of coverage KU band channels through Prime focus dish.

IT IS VERY LESS COST AND EFFECTIVE ONE.

Sharp ku lnb cost - Rs. 150
Spares for modification and machine work - Rs . 250
Total cost for home made ku band prime focus LNB is - Rs. 400.

But , branded ku band prime focus LNB cost is more than Rs. 1000.

Good work Senthil kumar, This type of lnb was made first by Vijaympeg4 from south , He is good in doing practicals.

Can you tell some thing more about the small scalier ring in front of the pipe used in Ku lnb.
I mean where this small scalier is used perfectly while putting in front of big scalier mean distance etc ?
I had the same Scalier lnb send by vijay bro, so want your experiences ok

Yes brother.
It is working fine. I catch many out of coverage satellite.

Dimensions :

pipe length - 100 mm .
pipe diameter - 25 mm .
scalar ring dia - 70 mm.
scalar ring depth - 15 mm.

First open the top cover of LNB carefully.
Use feviquick and M-seal to fix the pipe inside the lnb.
Make the scalar ring in lathe work shop.

Aluminium or Mild steel.

Aluminium is better , because of light weight.
