Friends, I managed to receive 299 channels in 18 Transponders from Hotbird 13 E in Punjab. My setup is 180 cm Ku band Tx Rx Prodelin fiber offset dish with Sharp LNB. One transponder is very weak and channels are with “still” problem. Most FTA channels are smooth. Results are not satisfying as I should receive a lot more channels with such a setup. Moreover please be informed that there is absolutely nothing FTA worth watching. This is just a hobby that I invested in it. Pointing a 70 cm dish to INSAT with a cheap Rs. 500 receiver will be more satisfying. DON’T waste your money and time if you want it FTA. Otherwise with subscription it may be OK.
