Hello DreamDTH users.
I will share my story of How I got my Airtel DTH Account balance which wasn't in use since past 10 months.
On 25 March 2024 I raised refund request for my account with balance ₹812.49.
On 27 March I got call from Airtel team to share my Bank Account details for refund.
After waiting for days, on 06 April 2024 , ₹310.48 got deducted from my account for refund.
On 09 April I received ₹310.48 in my bank account which I shared with them.
I didn't knew why out of ₹812.49, I only received ₹310.48. So I contacted Airtel & not surprisingly they were also unaware .
Then I received a message of completion of my request but it was showing open in App. So I contacted customer care & asked them the status , Airtel executive told me at one place my request is showing open & at second place it is showing resolved.
(Just Airtel things )
Days passed & I didn't wait also .
Then I thought of Contacting Airtel Nodal officers on 24 April. Nodal officer lady was polite & within 4 minutes of conversation she raised a complaint for refund.
30 minutes later she again called me & said that she has initiated the refund & will be initiated soon.
On 01 May remaining amount ₹ 502.01 got deducted from my Airtel account & on 09 May I received that amount in my Bank.
Conclusion: Airtel Customer service is not that bad. I will rate it 8/10 & to nodal officer 10/10
