How to connect home theatre to Xstream box for Dolby Audio?

I am having Airtel Extream set top box with 3.5mm jack, USB and LAN ports to be connect with Sony 5.1 Home theater having 3.5 jack port. What is they way to connect these two devices.

I am not sure about how is 3.5.. jack is used in xstream box.

1. If your tv has 3.5 mm port then just use a aux cable to connect tv to home theatre, this way you can also tune audio like bass treble etc.
