How to update software in Fta recever

I have vijetaexpo mpeg2 assemble receiver, I have to upgrade software of my receiver please help me

First of all you must know that your box has the abuilty to upgrade the software ,I mean it has the option plus a updated soft ?
Upgradation is done in good receiver which has RS:232 port means serial port like PC or USB port. So if you have good updated software then first DUMP of your Original Soft and save it in USB drive. Then copy the latest upgraded soft and copy the file in Root of USB drive. Then next go to update option & start update .
NOTE:- Don't stop the stb while upgrading or use UPS while upgrading the stb so that it should not interupted while upgradation. This is just info so I am not responsible for any damage done by your negligance.
