How Viacom18’s Paris Olympics coverage prioritises JioCinema, neglecting linear TV viewers

JIO cinema coverage of olympic is somewhat good but certainly it is not 4K.Olympic page should have been little more information. However sports 18 coverage is poor and pathetic

What was pathetic??? They are the first ones to send their team to paris to interview players and behind the scenes footage.. what was pathetic?? They have extensive line up of commentators and analyst from all sports field.. what was pathetic abt that??

Bad part is less coverage of ongoing live sports events reason being they just have Sports18-1 and 2 showing same thing in different language feeds while Sports18-3 airs India centric sporting action wherein too when multiple such events r on then they r again not able to air them separately.....many times they r airing snippets of certain live sporting events for few minutes in small windows which again does not serve the purpose..... Also they r frequently cutting to In Studio Live Discussion or showing felicitation ceremony for athletes being hosted at India House, Paris by Reliance Foundation even when live action is still ongoing which i think is a great initiative but can be shown later on post the events for the day are over.

Most importantly as many members have stated that they should have made use of MTV HD, Vh1 HD, Nick HD, Colors Cineplex HD to accommodate more variety of live sporting acting or even collaborated with Disney-Stsr or Eurosport to use their sports channels to air live events from Olympics.

If they aired Olympics events on MTV HD, Vh1 HD, Nick HD, Colors Cineplex HD then ratings of theae channels would have further increased and even operators not having these channels on their platform would have added the same.

Live coverage of events should have been priority over studio shows/ behind scene footage
 
After yesterday Neeraj Chopra event sports 18 went in hibernation mode tonight from 9:30pm to 11:40pm studio show live only only 2 wrestling match showed live in this time
