Sony sd channels pictures quality are upto the mark, I say better than dishtv and rest are below par and at best equal to nxt. But for hd it's a clear winner.

Pity that I can't activate any pack or free regional add-on as my balance is less than 100 though pack is valid for 2 months.

Yes, even I have annual pack and I was not able to topup from selfcare because balance was less than Rs 100 in my account, yesterday I topped up with Rs. 100 and now I am able to add topups, yesterday subscribed to 5M English movies HD pack and now my balance is Rs 40 but still I can change or subscribe to any topups. You can also add Rs 100 in your account and can subscribe to any free topups, you can use the balance Rs 100 when your subscription of two months expire.
