is it gud for low intensity signals.

Do u have a SOLID box ?
Have u come across a scenario, where solid box cudnt lock d signals, but openbox cud :huh

yes bro solid box also can lock low signal

both solid and open has almost same signal locking capability
but i think open box may increase 2% signal
so channels play freeze less in openbox rather than in solid

so i think and result there is not much difference in signal locking capability in bot boxes

hmm.... ::k bro

Ill have to test myself then... :)

Shawl bro are you talking about signal strength coz my solid box can lock signals having quality even less than 10% but depends from satellite to satellite.

no bro, thats signal quality...

I m talking abt strength, which is 90% is this case...

Basically, this signal strength is a measure of sensitivty of d box...

Only after a box has signal strength to convert electric siignals to TV signals.... does signal quality comes into picture.

U must have seen a signal of 45/10 on solid box ( which is unlocked), now even with 10% signal, signal doesnt come..
and here u ve posted a pic, in which quality is 0%, still signal is coming.

Thats bcoz, signal strength gets locked first, then only quality of d signal comes into d picture :k

Thanks for the information bro now its clear we need box which can work at such signal strength.

yes bro... right :tup

Dreambox/openbox locks signal at somewhere arnd 33% strength.

But SOLID locks arnd 49% ( more than 45%, atleast)
This is d lowest signal i ve seen.... 49%
