Ten Sports receives the coverage right of the I-League and Federation Cup after it signed a three year deal with IMG- Reliance, which is the commercial and marketing partner of the All India Football Federation (AIFF).

TEN Sports will broadcast the I-League competition through its football channel TEN Action, for three consecutive seasons starting 2012-13 season. The coverage right spans across various platforms such as Television, IPTV, DTH, HITS, Internet TV and Mobile.

With the I-League kicking off this weekend on 6 October 6 2012, Ten Action have agreed to telecast 75 live and delayed matches throughout the season.

The deal provides a sigh of relief to AIFF as it failed to get a broadcaster for the recently concluded Federation Cup. Only the semi-finals and the final matches were telecast live by national broadcaster Doordarshan.
