India News is a Hindi language Indian TV news channel. The Channel is run by Kartikeya Sharma. The Indian company ITV Media Group runs the channel.

Good Morning India and Information TV (GMI) are the two media companies set up by Kartikeya Sharma who is brother of Manu Sharma who is serving life sentence in Tihar jail in Jessica Lal murder case. His father Venod Sharma is a congress MLA from Haryana. The two print ventures i.e. ‘Aaj Samaj’ (Haryana's leading newspaper), and a Hindi magazine, ‘India News’ are a part of the Good Morning India. The Other two sister concerns are "India News Media Academy" and "Research India Organization". And India News Haryana {No.1}& India News Bihar & Jharkhand,India News Rajasthan and India News UP & UK has been already launched. India News MP & Chattisgarh is in the pipe line.
In a bid to expand his network, Mr. Kartikeya Sharma recently acquired News X (INX News Private Limited) in 2012.recently the channel has changed his slogan.the new slogan is DESH KI DHADKAN....

Already there are many news channels. With this addition of one more news channel it is evident that apart from space problem there is another aspect TS considers for new additions, that is "cost". All HD lovers are disappointed with TS and the time is not far to migrate to other DTH providers like D2h.
