From today evening mathrubhumi news, mediaone, kairali, kairali news, kairali we, safari tv not available in Sundirect. Also in dish tv some tamil chanels also not

Seems to be transponder issue of IS 17 satellite.

All channels are back from old tp as well as they added 2 new tps also with all those channels which were not available yesterday. Now some channels are getting double from 2 tps.

Due to Intelsat 17 satelite maintanance

This statement and the title of this thread is wrong. The "maintenance" (or "repair work") was happening in the uplink station / teleport side, not on the satellite.
The signal power of only a few frequencies were lower than the threshold, which was later corrected within 12 hours. The signals of all the other frequencies / transponders of that satellite were stable throughout the period.
