Even though ‘Jagga Jasoos’ underperformed at the box office, filmmaker Anurag Basu is still working on its sequel.
According to Bombay Times, the film’s script is already half complete. Talking to the publication, Basu said, “I have 60 per cent of the story ready. Nawazuddin Siddiqui (he played the villain in ‘Jagga Jasoos’) also knows about it and would love to be a part of it.”
He added, “The producers need to take a call if they want to make the film. A lot of courage and conviction is required on the part of the director and the producer to make a sequel to a film that hasn’t done well.”
It is not yet known who will produce the film and whether or not Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif will be a part of the sequel.
