Hindi screening of Rajnikanth's film Jailer is facing issues with the the multiplex owners for a holdover clause.

Pankaj Jaysinh of UFO, which has distributed the Hindi version said, "Fundamentally, the clause is not right - many a times the life of the movie is short in cinemas, but the National chain expects you not to screen the film before eight weeks on the OTT platform. Not only that, they will also halt screening the film in their cinemas after a week or two, but will not allow the producer to screen it on OTT, so ultimately it is the loss of the producer.''
