No DTH is showing true HD.. So Sun Direct is not an exception..

we shud wait for actual ::hd feed on dth, as this is only a logo change only, wid d word 'hd' in it. :s

Now the channel is in 16:9 ration as DTH didn't add any bars on top and bottom.

But from the ads I am seeing, then contents are in stretched mode.

Now they are playing "Ayirathil Oruvan (old)" movie in digital print. Now the video is not stretched but in original 16:9 ratio. And quality looks good for the digitized title pages of the movie.

If you dont know the language means ask what is in the scroll instead teasing nothing you will get in tease ..
