Tamilnadu vocal for local in TV business

Tamil nadu cable is operating by sun network with the help of ruling party recently they protest against price increase they have mentioned sun network also raised the price but they doesn't shutdown sun network channels in their cable My wish ambani has to develop their cable in tamil nadu and has to break cable politics that sun network has doing over 2 decades

From what i heard is the issue is not just restricted to this, cable operators are also against CTV , and fear that smaller operators are going to perish.
And with this price difference fear if the consumers wont subscribe to their cable.

You cannot opt for different cable , just caz you dont get your channels . Like if Siti is your area operator you cant opt to take hathway. but you can opt for jiotv+ or Airtel xtreme .

They are saying, when CTV operators can get channels for such low price why not cable?

CTV users paying Rs.700+ for Jio and Rs.800+ for airtel, but how much cable tv user pays? its just Rs.300/- or half of CTV user bill.

you are getting all channels and internet , if same channels are on cable it would cross 800

these are expressed by operators.
also i feel you are getting channels cheaper in CTV than cable , one premium sub is enough for all channels of their network.

Where is cheap?, Airtel follows same TRAI rules alongwith Cable operators, No Star and Sony channels are in Act fiber live tv app. No live tv in hotstar and Sony liv apps.

Who needs satellite channels when OTT providers are offering same content with no or less ads? TV has 8 minutes ads on 30 minutes shows. OTTs offer a maximum of 2 minutes ads combined on 30 minute shows.

We need news channels & 4k sports channels with 50-60fps, all others are time waste against OTT.

But circumstances changed. Now Reliance has the largest hand in Broadcast, Streaming as well as in Telecom. This three are connected. So they can swap things accordingly.
