Look at the bottom of the so called site, and confirm who copyrighted the site and conclude yourself.
Are you not aware that the Brand name could be different from the Copyright holder name.
While you are interested in looking at the bottom why don't you agree that someone else would be interested to look at the top (url).
I see many members are kind enough to explain this to you but looks like you are not in a mood to understand.
Yes that was also misleading. If the title is like "jiostar website published new RIO and so" will be very clear. Look at the DTH or cable tv operators website and conclude yourself whether they quote jiostar or star for broadcasters bouquets. One more thread is running for zee is correct and it matches with the registered name. Just because email id changed doesn't mean the registered name is also changed under TRAI. I will stop here. You are correct in your way of understanding and i am correct in my way of understanding. Thats all.
JioStar is the name used by media to refer the merged entity. I can share multiple site links from top digital media houses which use this name on their articles. This is to easily identify the new entity. If we just mention Star, then it would simply refer to the original Star brand/channels. THAT WILL BE MORE MISLEADING. That's why many of the media houses are using this JioStar name. There is no wrong in using that name as for now.
There is no need to make a huge discussion out of this. And, there is no need to change the title of this thread or it doesn't look misleading in any case. Let's stop dragging this along and stick to the topic of the thread.
