Sony should not think about Yay HD...Instead they should focus on regional areas...

@Shantanu bro is right Disney have launched International feed but not India feed of disney channel...They should launch it also...

So, sony pix2/ ESPN2 may not be launching. ESPN2 was expected to get cancelled as sony got TEN.

But I was expecting PIX2 considering Sony's movie library.

By the way what about &Flix? Will it be a separate channel or will replace zee studio?

Instead they should focus on regional areas...

Already marathi channel announced. But They should seriously rebrand their dead Bengali GEC sony aath.

Only after this 2 channel's success we can expect Sony's entrance in southern market.

Don't know much as I am marathi but they only have dubbed shows which even doesn't have any of daily soap from sony hindi. They only broadcast CID, Crime Petrol in Bengali.

I wonder how they can even keep this channel.

Yep...Its not in the top 5 too...Its tough for them to survive unless they rebrand it...

Yep...Its not in the top 5 too...Its tough for them to survive unless they rebrand it...

As I m Bengali, I know the actual condition of Sony Aath. It's realy most useless channel in the world. Nobody watch it. At first they were showing some good movies in afternoon slot, but later they only telecast old dubbed shows from Sony, like C.I.D., Crime Patrol, Aadaalat, Aahat etc. Only kids including me like animated shows from this channel, else nothing to watch. So, Sony should shut down this channel as soon as possible & expect they will launch a good Bengali GEC, replacing Aath.

Sony Aath is not bad considering old age people who likes to watch CID but cannot due to not understanding of Hindi language. Yes it shows dubbed shows.
It has some original shows too:

1. Sunday Funday
2. Nut Boltu
3. Gopal Bhar
etc

Sony aath or simply channel aath or eight, as previously named, had somewhat good TV movies / shows before it's acquisition by Sony.
