Banned coz of hurting sentiment of Valmiki Sawaj all over country specially in Punjab.

I haven't watched it yet. What did they do wrong? They can use the characters to make a whole different fiction show. Watch The Man on the White Castle. Wouldn't allies be offended as they changed the outcome of World Wars for a show?

I haven't watched it yet. What did they do wrong? They can use the characters to make a whole different fiction show. Watch The Man on the White Castle. Wouldn't allies be offended as they changed the outcome of World Wars for a show?

Actually they have changed the whole story. Changed the facts. Just to mention few:

1. They showed that nephews of Ram ji, who were studied in same ashram as Luv Kush (where Sitaji also stayed), pointed on the character of Sitaji. They simply shown them in wrong light. And Sitaji acting helpless.

2. Sitaji used to run a separate workshop where other women (who were thrown out of house bcos their husbands didn't trust their character) used to create handmade products and sell in market. Sitaji was disrespected there too. She was ready to bow down after failing to sell stuffs, until Ramji came into the scene.

3. As per the show, Ram ji and Hanuman ji got to meet Luv Kush after hearing their bravery. Later Shatrughan also met them and Sitaji too. But but in actual, Ram ji got to meet Luv Kush quite later after they picked fight with Shatrughan, Lakshman and Bharath.

These are just few drops of ocean. Show is total misrepresentation of facts and storyline deviates from what we have known so far. You can take liberty with fiction. But playing with Ramayana, which is soul of nation, simply not done.

But, here it is opposite? Although production house had made shows like Mahabharat and Porus.

Very True. It was the best one. In the age of no CGI, he created the best interpretation of Ramayana. Actors were honest and true to their work. Ravindra Jain's music and way 'chaupayis' were sung, totally loved it. It was an honest work. Now its all about money. Quite sad !

Actually that should be the way. When you are deviating from already told version, then please present the sources to that. You simply can't change stories in mythology. Stories of Shri Ram and Shri Krishna, is known to everyone, you can't play with them. So needs some sense of maturity and responsibility while depicting them.
