Again Sony Marathi bringing new concept as usual. Sony Marathi is only channel in marathi in present bringing new concept other than sasu soon & extra marital affairs.
1. Bayo : the show relating to the big hopes of small girl,
2. Gatha Navnathanchi & Aai Ekvira : Mythological show of stories which never seen before,
3. Jivachi Hotiya Kahili : A love story beyond language barriers and also related with burning issue of Maharashtra - Karnataka Border dispute.
4. Tumchi Mulgi kay karte? - related with Drugs Mafiya.

But after all this why channel not toping in trp charts. Are marathi people only like Sasu Soon drama & extra marital affairs?

Half the people are not aware of its existence itself.. and those who watch only watch Hasya Jatra on YouTube...

Also i myself hav disconnected from Sony coz they keep off airing shows abruptly (for eg Shrimantagharchi Soon which actually was their leading show, Ajunahi Barsat aahe, Boss majhi ladachi)
And Bayo hardly has any TRP.. even GN and Dnyaneshwar are on since ages now...
People are not watching zee and colors lately.. forget Sony

In addition to these new concepts Sony should have few(thoda sa) masala massy shows.
Those will draw people to them & eventually they can end up seeing all because of 1 masala content.
This is a sad reality but people like those Star massy dramas in all languages.

No special new year event this year..
Guess they don't want to spend more on organising event as Dhingana is doing amazing at TRPs
