It's just useless thing done by Shemaroo. Besides having good and enough classic movie library why they testing there faith in GEC segment. When channel was launched they started premiering good marathi title along with bollywood & south indian dubbed stuff. Also they invest descent to dubbed Bahubali series in marathi. Also promoted with good marketing. But suddenly they stopped all of this and started serials. Same thing they are doing with Tata Play Marathi Cinema service. At monthly cost of Rs. 45/- they are giving rerun serials and kirtan shows. Now they can't secure there slot on DD FD. So now they have to think again and concentrate only on movies segment. They can give fight to Zee Talkies and Pravah Picture. They will not succeed in GEC segment because there are big monsters like Star Pravah & Zee Marathi they are eating all other like Colors Marathi Sony Marathi Sun Marathi etc.

Some people don't learn from their mistakes. The channel already is thriving on a low budget. So why are they making such High budget shows? Why don't they simply stick to what they are doing - airing reruns and movies.
