It is same as current value sports pack but now Sony Happy India (A) bouquet included in this mid tier customised pack rather than ROI version which was previously included.

Sony is negotiating with all operators to make this change, it was long due and will help BBC Earth get proper reach. Had shared feedback regarding this few times on Twitter with channel as well as senior people associated with it

I can't believe that airtel can provide such cheap pack in current situation.

After TRAI Order NCF + channel revenue share comes lot higher for airtel than what ARPU was in previous regime. Rs. 153 directly goes to operator + 20 or 30 % of bouquet or channel price also comes to them. Even burden of paying hefty price upfront has gone and money coming from ads , carriage channels is quite good.

Overall DTH business of airtel has benefited in new tariff regime, Tata Sky must have suffered shortfall as expenditure risen compared to returns, previously signing long term fixed deal gave huge discounts to them and subscribers paid somewhat higher monthly fee for channels as compared to other operators. Airtel did not manage to get similar cost effective deals hence we noticed them not signing on costly bouquet agreement or delaying it constantly
