MUMBAI: The Ministry of Information & Broadcasting (MIB) has granted permanent registration to four new multi-system operators (MSOs), taking the total number of MSOs to 125 across the country.
The government has granted permission to Venkit Sai Media, Crystal Transmission, Yerraguntla Cable Network and Royal Services Diginet Vision.
Venkit Sai Media has got permanent registration for the districts of Srikakulam, Vijayanagaram, Visakhapatnam, East Godavari,West Godavari, Krishna, Guntur, Prakasam and Nellore in the state of Andhra Pradesh and in the district of Greater Hyderabad, and Rangareddy, Medak, Nizamabad, Mehboob Nagar, Warangal, Sangareddy and Khammam in the state of Telangana.
Crystal Transmission has got permanent registration for the Chennai Metropolitan Area.
Yerraguntla Cable Network has got permanent registration for Kadapa district in Andhra Pradesh.
Royal Services Diginet Vision has got permanent registration for Hamirpur, Mandi and Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh.
