Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt and the Bhatts looked inseparable at one point of time but the story has changed of late. The Bhatts have always stood by the actor through thick and thin but they have got nothing in return. It is said that Munnabhai has let them down by opting out of their film.
Munnabhai had agreed to act alongside Emraan Hashmi in Vishesh Films' next film. He gave the green signal to Vishesh Films' Chairman MD Mukesh Bhatt and director Kunal Deshmukh when they met him at his residence in January. But the latest we hear is that the actor has opted out of the film citing date problem. Sources said that the banner wants to start the film this August but the actor is not able to allot his dates till April next year.
Mahesh Bhatt admitted that Munnabhai is no longer in his film. “Well, Sanjay Dutt is a big man. He has a production house and his own compulsions. He could not fit into our requirements. We couldn't go by his pace, and he couldn't go by ours. We were travelers who went in different directions. But that's fine. Aisa hota hai. We went to him since he is one of us and he still remains so,” Mid-Day quoted the filmmaker as saying.
Now, the makers of the film are looking for someone to replace Munnabhai. They said that they might even consider a fresh face for the role
