How to book a cab (Ola/Uber) even if there is no cab in your location?

This was done by my friends at the hostel when they needed a cab at late night for night outs. Our hostel is in a very interior location so usually after 9 P.M. there are no cabs to be found in our area.

Suppose, the location where they wanted to call the cab is X.

Navigate around the map, the nearest location where the cab is and book it to a place near to that location. Consider it Y.

When the cab reaches the location Y which is in the vicinity of X, cancel it and with another mobile phone, book it from your original location, i.e. X.

Job done. I know, it’s unethical but still.

Enjoy :tup
