Yes Internally I don't having this type of experience so Externally you must have accurate power for HDD this is alo Important,ajaidev said:Sorry did not replay earlier but i have tried to foorat the hdd with FAT32/NTFS/EXT2 but it was no good i am thinking the lack of power in the 5V rail might be the cause i will make a 5V adaptor and try out the interface again.
I am thinking i the HDD gets the power from an external source the STB role will be reduced and hopefully should work.
So do it wisely and properly with help of some Hardware friend ok
