My new DVB T2 antenna to get free Doordarshan DTT channels

Does this device not need any set top box? I also have Sony Bravia Internet ready TV. Can I attach this device and receive mentioned free DD channels without setting any antenna and set top box? Also will this device work in all locations?

Find in the settings of your TV if Digital Scan is available or see if your TV have DVB T2 tuner. If your TV is DVB t2 ready only this antenna is required.
Service available in Sixteen Cities as mentioned above. Ideally you can get it in the radios of 60-70 kilometer from the TV tower in the city.
 
^^ Thanks. My TV does have the option of digital scan. But unfortunately my city is not listed in the list. Can I get any other channel using this device in other locations not mentioned in the list?

According to news reports Doordarshan is planning to bring 600 channels on DTT platform but at least we can hope some more FTA channels.

Today I got my DVB T2 Antenna via Amazon. Was able to scan 5 TV channels and 3 Radio channels in Chennai. The PQ & AQ are fine.

1. DD Podhigai
2. DD National
3. DD News
4. DD Sports
5. DD Bharti

RADIO CHANNELS
1. AIR Tamil
2. AIR Marathi
3. AIR Vividh Bharti

I have a Sony Bravia LED with DVB tuner
