I am naming HD as LED. no difference between them

@Mazhar : LED is a Light emitting diode technology, its a transistor technology... while LCD is Liquid crystal display.... a vast difference in make... LED technology makes the width of the screen more slim..... Both are not same.... secondly we have HD LCD and HD LED.... LED and HD are not same... Now latest technology is 3D full HD LED

3D Full Hd Led is latest technology, but it is far yet in our countires,because if you see until now only few channels are 3D,

in my point of view it is best option it LED HD tv with full option.

Full option means

1. Full Hd 1080P
2. All share
3. More Hdmi Options

One & only basic difference between LCD & LED is the tech used for lighting purpose.
LCD TV have CFLs for illumination the display area, whereas LED TV have array of LEDs for the same purpose. In some OLD LCDs , CFLs are installed at all four corner only, so you may experience non-linear illumination. But now a days LCD TV too have good illumination by more CFLs covering all display area.

But should always go for LED as manufacturers are giving new & new technology mostly for LED TVs as its in demand. :c

5. USB ports with all type media playback (Samsung is better in this)
6. Software update option for future proof TV (available in Samsung)
