Calculation According to Transpnder 11470 H 30000 They Have 39 SD And 3 HD Channels If We Calculate All SD Then 49 Channels And We Calcualte All Hd Then 13

How can Tatasky squeeze 13 HD channels in a 36 Mhz TP Which computes to 75 Mbps data + 15 Mbps FEC. Nearly 1Mbps less per channel.

Its not after moving to MPEG 4 they have 13 HD channels on 1 TP. They have same no of HD channels during IPL also(Migration process doesn't start at that time). After IPL they just remove SONY SIX HD and add Star world premium HD in that slot.

I think it doesn't matter for end user how much they are compressing(By which algorithm) as long as AV quality is good. And i don't think anyone have any complain about AV quality in TS.

How can TS have 13 HD channels on one 36 MHz TP while D2h requires 54 MHz ?
Its a technical question. I am sure some tech guy can explain that. But it is clear that TS have some technology by which they are able to beam 13 HD channels(or 39 SD + 3 HD channels) from 36 MHz. So looks like premium DTH(according to CEO) have some premium Technology by which they are capable of delivering same number of HD channels with less bandwidth without degrading AV quality.
