They probably wanted to distinguish from Dance India Dance and Dance Deewane, which both air on Saturday and Sunday only. Even the time at 8pm is earlier than 9pm and 10pm, respectively. Clearly, they didn't want to air at the same time and possibly even wanted to steal eyeballs from the others. Whether or not that happens remains to be seen. Unfortunately, Star Plus doesn't have the best track record of garnering high TRPs from its reality shows.
