Actor Neil Nitin Mukesh, who is just back from Russia after wrapping up a shooting schedule for his forthcoming film Players, is spending some much needed quality time with his family. And this time he decided to meet the two most important people in his life, besides his parents, of course.
Neil is very attached to his nephews and since he had not been able to spend enough time with them of late, he invited them over for some serious bonding time. He says, “It was summer vacations for my nephews so I called them down to spend a few days with me before I resumed work.”
Neil devoted his next few days taking his nephews out to shop, watch movies, gorge on ice-creams and teach them to swim. He says, “My nephews are fans of detective serials so I went and got them toy guns. After that, they got to be the cops while I was the baddie they were after.” There was this one time when Neil who usually loves to watch a film before he falls asleep, saw children’s films with the kiddos. “While putting them to sleep, I ended up watching Haunted Mansion and Casper, The Friendly Ghost with them.”
Now that he is back, the actor has also been catching up on his endorsements and other commitments. Recently, the actor was chosen to represent a brand that specialises in healthcare solutions for corporates, government agencies, and hospitals.
Later this year, the actor will be shooting a commercial and attending a press conference-seminar in New York. “I’m looking forward to representing my country on a global platform that promotes awareness towards healthy living. All I want to tell young people is that it’s uncool not to focus on health issues,” he asserts, pointing out that going to the gym every day, and then grabbing a burger is not the right way to be fit.”
