Colors Kannada explores a tale of unflinching faith through its latest offering, ‘Padmavathi’
In a day and age where faith is dwindling, Colors Kannada brings a soul stirring tale of a girl’s unwavering belief in the Almighty. Replacing another phenomenally successful season of Bigg Boss, ‘Padmavathi’ – the latest offering from Colors Kannada, explores the life of Tulasi, who is a devout follower of Goddess Padmavathi and believes that the deity will lead her to make the right choices in life.The show is all set to premiere on February 6th and will air every Monday to Friday at 9:30PM.
Elaborating on the launch, Parameshwar Gundkal -Business Head, Colors Kannada and SUPER said, “This mix of mythology coupled with relatable characters maps a plot and genre that has hitherto remained unexplored in the Kannada market. With Padmavathi, the channel aims to bring viewers yet another fresh story, rooted in Karnataka and in an entertaining manner. We are certain the show will enjoy as much popularity as Bigg Boss did in this slot.”

Made under the banner of Sai Nirmala Productions, the show stars Deepthi as Tulsi and Trivikrama as Samrat in pivotal roles.
‘Padmavathi’follows the story of a simple god-loving girl, Tulasi and a non-believer Superstar, Samrat. Tulasi is a devout follower of goddess Padmavathi and considers her as her friend and guide. Samrat is a warm hearted man but an atheist. Tulasi takes all important decisions of her life only after consulting the goddess. She strongly believes that the deity will guide her to find the right life partner for her.
