Flowers a 24 hours malayalam entertainment television channel will be launched by the first week of February 2015.

The channel MD Mr. Sreeekandan Nair is a popular name in Malayalam Television Industry. He is at the helm of affairs of the channel and planning for program line-up with Exclusive Movies , Game shows , Reality shows, News , Comedy Shows , Debates and Music.
The channel being a part of 500 Crore visionary Media City project initiated by some of the most lauded names in Indian media and supported by a group of Keralite promoters.

The business tycoons who have provided impeccable business credentials and remarkable success in their business ventures are looking forward to deliver a visual delight through 'Flowers TV'.

This unique project will have an international media college, a world event centre and a movie production division.

To be operational through 14 media ventures within the media city.

Sources confirm that 'Flowers' is a General Entertainment Channel which will be launched by February with their office at Cochin Media City and a 24 hours news and current affairs television channel will be launched by April 2015. Flowers will redefine the entertainment culture and provide world class visual delight to the people.

Big names like Alungal Mohammed, Gokulam Gopalan, Dr B Govindan, Dr Vidya Vinod, Dr A M Arun, Davies Edakulathur, Sathish G Pillai and T A Sundar Menon stand as the backbone of the channel that infuses funds for the new channel and related ventures.
R Sreekandan Nair, much known as a senior media personality who worked in channels like Asianet will guide the channel to establish its own space in the media arena with complete responsibility. He is looking forward for its launch while doing all possible ground works for its success.

Kerala market is already cluttered with GECs like Asianet, Mazhavil Manorama, Surya TV, Amrita TV and Kaumudi TV and the launch of 'Flowers TV' with such a huge financial backing likely to add fuel to fire the competition of ratings war and the quality of entertainment would reach its zenith
Sources also confirmed that Flowers has bagged the Satellite Rights of ''Naku Penta Naku Taka'' Movie and aggressively pitching for the satellite rights of upcoming movie.

The television channel, which will give priority to the traditional values of Kerala, will stick to international standards in broadcasting, Gokulam Gopalan, chairman of the channel, said here.

The programmes will be telecast on High-definition (HD). The investment of the first phase of the channel, which is promoted by Inset Media City, is Rs 500 crore.
