The new Malayalam General Entertainment Channel from Insight Media City Pvt Ltd, ''Flowers TV'', is all set for a launch coinciding with the auspicious occasions of the Vishu festival hoping that Flowers TV is blooms like the beautiful flowers of Vishu month.
FLOWERS , a 24 hour Malayalam entertainment television channel will beam into the living rooms starting tomorrow morning 7 am and set to offer shows, serials, movies, music and much more.
The Highlight of the first day will be the launch event "Ulghadanaraavu" the star studded event held on 4th April that will be aired from 7 PM onwards and prior to that the channel also scheduled Block buster Premier Movie ''Cousins'' at 3:30 pm.
The channel also charted a grand offering plans on Vishu day (15th April) with an uninterrupted live musical show ''Sagara Sangeetham'' which will see the participation of more than one lakh audience and Mega talents like Shankar Mahadevan, Hariharan, Vijay Prakash, Mano, Sahabas Aman etc... to be held at Calicut Beach, Cochin from 6 pm onwards. The live show will be anchored by Star Singer fame Ranjini Haridas. During the day part of Vishu day the channel has also scheduled two Premier movies one at 10 am and another one at 3:30 pm.
The logo of the channel was unveiled on the 21st of November at the Taj Vivanta, Trivandrum in a glittering ceremony attended by eminent personalities and media luminaries as also the promoters of the project. Shri Gokulam Gopalan will grace the channel as chairman and his inimitable vision and expertise will guide and inspire channel operations.
