There is no manual way to update software in airtel internet tv.
Airtel need to provide latest stb to internet tv users or provide latest updates

You're right bro with release of Xstream STB all updates & support for InternetTV is suspended. If we need latest OS & new features then we no have choice but to upgrade to Xstream box
