Maybe planning to introduce more variants of Channel 100 for airing region specific ads on such channels so as to increase revenues
I am more excited as to when both Tata Play and Airtel Digital TV will start migration towards HEVC for HD channels transmission, Airtel Digital TV might implement it earlier as instead of leasing new transponders to overcome bandwidth shortage this solution will be more cost effective and efficient in the long run to expand its service offerings....Tata Play still has lot of spare bandwidth courtesy GSat24 hence for next 3 or 4 years it would not consider investing in upgrading to HEVC for HD channels transmission
