BAG Network-owned News24 Broadcast India’s Hindi news channels News24 is getting revamped from 5 February, a company source told. The channel will have a new look and content line-up as part of the revamp.
As part of its content strategy, News24 will focus on two time bands, morning and evening prime-time. As part of its focus on rural audience, the channel will focus on 6-10 pm time band. In the morning, it will focus on the 7-8 am time band. From 8-10 pm, the channel will present news in two different patterns.
The channel is targeting 15+ adults NCCS ABCD market. It has a fairly good penetration in the rural market, especially in UP and Bihar.
The source further stated that they have seen high involvement in the 8 to 10 pm time band in the evening so they will be focusing on that time band.
