Paramount Channel launched in Russia, Hungary
MUMBAI: Paramount Channel is launching in Hungary and Russia this month.
In Russia, a deal has been done with cable service operator Rostelecom Interactive TV subscribers as part of the company’s ‘Movie’ and ‘Maximum’ TV packages.
Rostelecom viewers will also be able to watch the channel’s HD version. In Hungary, a distribution agreement has been signed with affiliate partners Tarr, PR Telekom, Invitel and Magyar Telekom.
The focus is on making sure that the movie selection from different decades is right for each market.
